Absolute Poker & Ultimate Bet Merge to create Cereus
According to some sources, and here, online poker rooms Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet have merged to form one network called the Cereus Poker Network. The joining of both rooms onto one network would create the world’s 3rd largest poker network behind the PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker networks.
Features of the Cereus Poker Network
The press release indicates that the two rooms will integrate customers from both poker rooms and features from both Absolute and Ultimate Bet, to create an innovative network that will be one of the largest in the industry. Cereus has been 12 months in development and expect to see the same features from both rooms but add more players, more tournaments, and more promotions.
Perhaps now they will just need one Super User as opposed to one for each room as before. 
According to the release, Paul Leggett, the COO of both AP and UB said:
“I am so excited to announce the launch of our new poker network CEREUS. This is a huge landmark for our company and online poker. I’m confident that Absolute Poker and UltimateBet customers will be thrilled by the new platform and we look forward to welcoming many new players from around the world.”
As of today, July 24th, Aintluck.com has not seen an official press release from either poker room, but insiders indicate that this is in fact true. Emails to UB and AP have not been returned yet regarding this story. More to come on this developing story of the potential merge between Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet to form the brand new Cereus Poker Network.
