At the end of the match, it was Galfond taking home first prize and $817,781.

Final Table - $5K PLO - Event 28

The final table saw some of the biggest names in poker and almost saw more but Chris “Jesus” Ferguson was eliminated in 10th place. As it shaped up, the final table looked like this:

Brian Rast - 1,176,000
David Benyamine - 1,041,000
John Juanda - 694,000
Johnny Chan - 624,000
Kirill Gerasimov - 558,000
Daniel Negreanu - 460,000
Adam Hourani - 300,000
Phil Hellmuth - 119,000

This was Phil Hellmuth’s 40th final table in his poker career and guaranteed his 64th career cash at the WSOP which extended his record. Johnny Chan was shooting for his 11th career bracelet which would have tied him with Hellmuth’s bracelet record. However, the bigger story here was that two rising Internet poker stars Phil Galfond and Adam Hourani would eliminate the pros and move on to the final heads up match.
