Liv Boeree Poker Wins

This is an excellent boost for Absolute Poker’s roster of online poker professionals. Absolute just signed Boeree back in February of 2008. Their investment paid off with this high profile win by their latest signed pro. This is Olivia’s first major win after placing seventh at the Welsh Amateur Poker Championships, and second place at the PartyPoker Womens Poker Open. She has other first place finishes but nothing as impressive as this win.

Olivia Boeree Biography

Boeree was a former astrophysics student who is now moving full steam ahead in the poker circuit. She was first spotted on TV back in 2005 where she caught the attention of poker pro, Annie Duke, one of the world’s most popular and well-known female poker pros. Liv worked closely with Annie Duke to strengthen her poker game and gain some additional insight and poker tips from this world class player. This undoubtedly gave her the confidence and ability to pull off the win at the Ladbroke’s Ladies Championship.
