It was just announced that professional poker player, Joe Sebok has just reached a deal with Ultimate Bet fresh off the heels of his impressive 56th place finish in this year’s World Series of Poker Main Event. In fact, during episodes of Sebok’s Pokerroad podcasts, Sebok and the Pokerroad team had been highly critical and had some harsh words for them when details were emerging.

This is a potentially key move by Ultimate Bet as over the years, Sebok has gained a strong reputation in the realms of internet radio and podcasts and figures to serve him well in his title of Media and Operations Consultant. It is believed that his expertise will assist Ultimate Bet re-emerge as an industry leader once again. After all, very few players know the ins and outs of online poker as well as Sebok.

Sebok is still expected to continue in his role as founder and CEO of PokerRoad.com, a site which each airdate, has a conversation with a top poker professional at a major tournament. In addition, they inject a dose of humor as they detail hands of the day and current poker news. Sebok has parlayed the show into a bit of notoriety as he is the most followed poker player on popular social networking giant, Twitter.
