Just because you are regarding by many as the greatest poker player on the planet, doesn’t mean you are immune from life’s bumps’ in the road. In December 2009, Ivey and his wife Luciaetta decided to end their seven year marriage. Having no children, the next step for the couple was to equally divide all of their assets, which at this point are rather substantial, as evidenced by Ivey’s nearly $12 million in career tournament earnings as well as who knows how much in live and online poker cash play at Full Tilt Poker. Apparently, the two were caught in a stalemate as to who would keep the home, so a sale and dividing of the money was decided.

As one would expect, the Ivey mansion is fit for a king, filled with all sorts of toys and amenities. The contemporary style home with a listing price of just a shade under $2 million, boasts 6,727 square feet of living space. It contains 4 bedrooms and a whopping 6 bathrooms. It has something called a “great room” which is 2 stories high and contains huge panoramic windows overlooking the mountains and has an extra large fireplace.

Given the massive size of the home, each of the bedrooms are larger than the living rooms of most normal homes. The master bedroom contains a dressing room a walk in closet and something called a sitting room which is like a foyer, as well as the 2nd of the home’s 3 fireplaces.

Now for the special toys…Outside, there is an Olympic sized swimming pool with an adjoining hot tub. There is also a home theater, a full-sized basketball court and an indoor fully stocked gym.
