In response to comment below by Sean. I still don’t think it is credible that a reputable poker site would manipulate anything. It just doesn’t make sense business wise. They make money no matter what, lets face it, its all about the rake. If they at all look like they are manipulating things they are done. Not to mention they are audited as well.

I`ve been wondering more & more lately about the integrity of Pokerstars. Now having read this article on Intellipoker there seems to be no doubt – They are basically admitting that we are not playing on an even field,(FPPs,bots) who knows whatever else. You wouldnt believe the bad beats ive been having,& am getting more & more suspicious by the day. Time & time again i`m being beaten on the turn & river after an all-in situation after the flop & pre, by the only card possible. I`m not a whinging looser, most of us can calculate the odds of probibility & @ pokrtstars it just aint adding up!

I have been on Poker Stars for a few months now and although there are more bad beats than seems usual..I have found it overall to be a fair site, However, this is the first time I have had a look at this forum as I was curious to see what InteliPoker was – well I am still in shock, how can ANY Poker Room be involved in such utter rubbish or even any self respecting sponsored player give their name to this…Do the top players in Poker Stars have any say about this..I suspect not…As for the extra fpp, well Poker Stars do seem to dish out a lot of extra points on specials for Spain England etc, but feel this should exclude any Intelli Players as they are taking the extra points on a permanent basis.

Alfredo, if you feel you have been unfairly treated take it further on PRINCIPLE

Alfredo, I’m not sure what else you can do in this situation. You’ve tried contacting PokerStars and they haven’t replied. Perhaps try another poker room?

Pokerstars is the biggest scam.
I opened my account, and began playing real money, i put 100 us dollars in the account and made over 300 dollars. I didn’t know anyone who played at pokerstars, and it happens that when i requested a cashout they told me that i was involved in chip dumping, ARE U KIDDING ME???, they asked me for an id and a few other things, so i was hoping that it was just a misunderstanding and sent everything they needed. After a few weeks the sent me an e-mail telling me that my account was cancelled and that the decision was final. I tried getting in contact but they just decided to ignore my e-mails.
If somebody knows what i can do, please help me.

I am in a 5$ rebuy vs an intellipoker guy or bot, but he is going all-in every hand, and with 5 minutes to go before rebuy period is over, he is in 2nd place in a field of 747 players.

Not sure if these guys suck more than the usual player. The fact that they brandish the intellipoker logo first makes you assume they take their game seriously. When you see them play bad, it just makes them look much worse.

Its easier to remember when someone plays bad, but its harder for you to remember someone that you think will play well, making a great play.

I have been seeing less of them. It could be that their reputation is finally getting to them, and for people who don’t want to be associated with some of the bad players, the little fpp a day really doesn’t make a difference.

LOL OMG WTF! Intellipoker.com=FAIL! Anyone who uses intelli is bad at poker and should not be on the poker tables. Also, I agree with each and every one of you, INTELLIPOKER ICON=EASY MONEY! Every time I see an Intellipoker icon, I just tell myself “Oh look, free money”

My experience is that they are mostly soft players that display a label (avatar) that identifies them as easy prey. I think it is great that there is a resource (poker school) for newbies learning the game but these players either don’t pay attention or the training isn’t strong enough to help them become winning players too quickly. These guys are no threat to you if you are a winning player and you should welcome them to your table. I do disagree with what seems to be favortism in giving them exclusivity to more FFP’s. More frequent player points as incentive to ADVERTISE in your personal space (your avatar) should certainly be made available for anyone who wants to participate. If you think about it, all that is happening is people are getting paid to let their avatar be used as an advertisment. This is an ok concept no different in my mind then when Pokerstars or full tilt pay people to wear their logos at televised events. Hell, I would love to get the intelli logo just to throw opponents off to believing I am also a weak player and at the same time collect more frequent player points for displaying their ad. As far as bots and fearing them…..bots have been proven to NOT be profitable. They are programmed to act a certain way and strong players can easily beat a bot by adjusting their play to confuse the software. Search the internet and you will agree they are not a threat and the poker sites have poerful software that catches them pretty quick. I will leave you with one more thought about bots. The developers would keep it to themselves if it was a license to print money. They wouldn’t be selling it to the world.
