Just as the World Series of Poker creeps into view, the world’s second largest online poker site, Full Tilt Poker, is looking to be front and center for the next few weeks, announcing just yesterday it’s schedule for the latest installment of its signature tournament series, FTOPS XVI. As in past installments, this series is absolutely loaded with millions in guaranteed prize money. In fact, between the regular FTOPS and the MiniFTOPS which is set to begin shortly thereafter, Full Tilt Poker is guaranteeing over $25 million.
The series is just under a month away, beginning on April 23rd and running through May 2nd. Just as in the last series, each of the 30 events will be hosted by a Full Tilt Poker pro.
There is a tournament for everyone as they will feature bounty tournaments, shootouts and turbos in Hold ‘em, Omaha, and Mixed games. The culmination will be the final tournament, a no limit hold ‘em main event with a $3 million guarantee.
