Ben Lamb buys BMW 650i

by Jeremy

With the 2011 WSOP Main Event final table currently underway and Ben Lamb right in the hunt for the $8.7 million top prize, life is pretty good for the 26-year-old. Previously unknown to the general poker population, Lamb jumped into the spotlight after winning the $10k Pot Limit Omaha Championship, and placing in the top 12 of three other 2011 WSOP tournaments.

In all, the Las Vegas resident has earned over $2.1 million this year when you include his guaranteed $782k cash for the 2011 WSOP Main Event, which will likely be much higher. In short, it’s been a very good year financially for Ben Lamb. This being said, the poker pro decided to splurge a little on himself after purchasing an expensive BMW 650i.

The news of Ben Lamb’s expensive purchase was first reported by those on the TwoPlusTwo forum, and one poster believes that the car could be worth around $100k if it is well equipped. He wrote the following:

Not a huge fan of the color selection but def a sick car. About $100k well equipped. Nice vanity plate also. Maybe he will trade it in for Lambo if he ships the main.

Interestingly enough, this poster isn’t the only one who’s not a fan of Lamb’s BMW color choice. Another poster questioned Lamb buying a light gold-colored car by writing:

mine as well change the tags to granpa 1 with that whack color, could have even made it that ugly green aria t he was weariing . Damn I am hating, just pissed im not @ the final table. lol

Perhaps if Lamb earns a multi-million score in the 2011 WSOP Main Event, he will take these suggestions to heart and get another fancy car.
